The Whatcom Community College Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization that champions the needs of students and the initiatives of the College. Through its generous donors, the Foundation is committed to providing educational opportunities for all students, regardless of their financial resources, and to supporting Whatcom's high-quality programs, as well as the College's outstanding faculty.

Over the past few years, WCC has experienced unprecedented growth with 30% more students pursuing their educational goals and careers. At the same time, state funding has decreased by 40%. The Foundation awarded $126,000 in scholarships this past academic year and is currently focused on raising even more private funding to match the dramatically increased need. This year alone, scholarship applications have more than tripled.

Now more than ever, Whatcom and its students rely on private support through the Foundation.
